At Highland park you can walk around, enjoy the view from the top and overlook the Hudson river but also the trendy Meatpacking district.
Forget 5th Avenue and SOHO for a minute (not too long of course:)) because the Meatpacking district is the name of the game!
At Washington street we became hyper (And when I say hyper, I mean hyper: Mini-me warned me because people might be under the impression that I suffered from a seizure, easily mistaken with instant happiness) when spotting the Diana von Furstenberg shop filled with delicious wrap dresses of the most delightful paterns and fabrics…Across the street we found Scoop, heaven on earth with great pieces of Halston Heritage, Missoni and sunglasses of Tom Ford.
Of course we HAD to visit the Stella McCartney Flagship store (did you know Stella also has a Mini-me clothing line?), the Alexander McQueen Flagship Store and Matthew Williamson and lets not forget the original and slightly hysterical Moschino shop….even with a modest wallet: go in and get inspired!
Meatpacking district: Hip, hot and happening!!!
